This dataset was compiled by merging several existing datasets for asphalt, concrete, gravel, and impervious/pervious pavers within Burlington, VT's parks. Most of the data was likely input via manual drawing/digitization in ArcMap by tracing visible hardscape on various orthoimagery. Additional data is added and updated periodically by BPRW Staff as capital projects are completed in order to incorporate as-built inofrmation. Revised data may be added by drawing over updated ortho imagery collected by a contractor/consultant's drone, by importing and post-processing CAD data, or by importing GIS data compiled by a consultant or contractor.

This feature class represents surfaces within park areas that are hardscaped, including pervious and impervious surfaces, and require some form of maintenance.
Park Hardscape
BPRW", "impervious", "hardscape", "parks", "maintenance"
}
