Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Source Data are 1:1250 orthophoto base data, including parcel boundaries, road centerlines, and other features. Attribute Ward (integer) is the Ward Number (1-8). Attribute District (Character) is the District Name (East, Central, South, and North). Residential growth in the New North End large;y ended by the year 2000. However accelerated growth in the rest of the City increased the 1993 Overall Plan Deviation to 41.5% by 2010. Rather than remove a councilor from the NNE, an eighth ward was added in the UVM/Champlain College area, which minimized ward boundary changes for most of the City. Not wanting to increase the City Council to 16, ward pairs were combined into 4 Districts, with each of the wards and districts electing one councilor.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
